The International Conference on Energy, Environment and Material Sciences for Sustainable Development (FEEMSSD-2025) is expected to play a significant role in bringing together experts, researchers, and practitioners to explore novel solutions and promote collaboration at the nexus of water, energy, environmental, materials and drug sustainability. Water is the most indispensable part of life on this planet. A famous quote in Hindi "Jal Hi Jeevan Hai" and “Jab-Jab aap urja ka sanrakshan karenge, Tab-tab aap paryavaran ka sanrakshan karenge” underscore the importance of water and energy in life. It is noteworthy to mention that 771 million people still find it difficult to access clean potable water despite of technical advancements and developments across the globe. Use of drugs and their adverse health and environmental effects has always been a topic of discussion. In addition use of advanced materials can be used for energy saving and their production. So, advanced material always play an important role in the sustainable development. It can be used in the wastewater treatment, news products manufacturing and drugs preparation. On this backdrop, it won’t be out of place to highlight the need of an effective integral seamless strategy including water desalination, reject management, wastewater treatment, materials for advances product and drug products. Further, it is incumbent upon our policy makers and world academic to deliberate and give serious thinking on judicious use of today’s modern tools and technologies to harness optimal nexus between energy, environment and material science to explore new avenues of alternative technologies for sustainable development. With an eye on the importance of this issue, Department of Chemical, Mechanical, Chemistry, Pharmacy of MMMUT Gorakhpur is organizing this international conference to deliberate and share new ideas and emerging advancements, and to propose appropriate synergistic techniques towards fulfilling the need of sustainable development in term of energy, environment, and material science.

About MMMUT-Gorakhpur
Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur has been established in year 2013 by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in the form of a Non-Affiliating Technical University after reconstituting the Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur which was established in 1962. Fifty-five batches of students have entered its portals to emerge after 4 years of rigorous education under the tutelage of some of the most venerable teachers, engineers ready to face the world and create new world. The university is located on the Gorakhpur-Deoria Road about 9 km away from Gorakhpur Railway & Bus Station and 5 KM from Gorakhpur Airport. In addition to UG and PG programs in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering, University also offers MCA, MBA, B. Pharm and Ph.D. courses in various specializations. It is a fully residential technological University, with five boys' hostels, three girls' hostels, and residences for faculty and staff. Every bhawan is consummated with a mess, common room, sport facilities like T.T, Volleyball etc. Tilak and Ambedkar are the newly constructed hostels with intake capacity of 120 and 240 respectively. One new Boys Hostel named Ramanujam is nearing completion with capacity of 240 while the additional capacity addition of Raman Bhawan and Subhash Bhawan is underway with capacity addition of 240 each in existing capacity.

About Department of Chemical Engineering
On the behalf of Department of Chemical Engineering, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, I welcome to visitors. Department was established in year 2016 and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Department of Chemical Engineering is started in the year 2016 with a total intake of 60 students and first batch graduate in year 2020. Department strives for the all-round development of students’ and nurtures them to cater the need of industry and society. Teaching and learning in Department not restricted to the classroom and prepare them for industry. We always strive to provide them life learning skills and as results of this more than of 15% student joined higher degree program at premium institutes of India like IIMs, IITs, NITs, etc. Two students received MEXT fellowship of Japanese government for higher education in Japan. During COVID pandemic situation more than 50% got jobs in public and private sector. One of student joined as Assistant Scientific officer at IGCAR, Kalpakkam and two start their own firm. Department cannot be flourished without the active involvement and dedication of faculty. Faculty members of Chemical Engineering are recognized for their research and educational impact through their experiential skills. They are members of a variety of professional organizations. Our department is exponentially growing by leaps and bounds and our impact in chemical engineering education and research is poised for continual growth in the years ahead.

Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology Gorakhpur. We started our journey in the year of 1962. Over the years, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core of Mechanical Engineering Curriculum and Research. We are offering B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 120 students, M.Tech. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Energy Technology & Management with 18 intakes and Ph.D students full time and Part time. Our Department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded. They have been conferred Ph.Ds from reputed Institutions of National importance.. About Department of Chemistry & Environmental Science
Department of Chemistry & Environmental Science is the new emerging academic department of MMMUT, Gorakhpur. The department was established on June 22, 2019 and inaugurated by Goraksha Pithadish Param Pujya Sri Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj, the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh under the visionary leadership of renowned academician and technocrat Professor Sri Niwas Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur. The Department is committed to fostering a respectful workplace culture and strives to cultivate a safe, inclusive and fair environment where staff, faculty, researchers and students can thrive as they advance new chemical frontiers through research, innovation, collaboration and scholarship. As the nascent upcoming department, the pivotal focus is to cater to the academic and research requirements of the budding engineers and basic science researchers. About Department of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology
Department of Pharmacy has been started in the academic session 2021-22 with intake of 75 with imaginativeness to become one of the esteemed departments that is solely dedicated in the field of pharmaceutical education and research and to produce competent world class professional with glorious career. The goal of the Pharmacy program is to render professional skill, knowledge, abilities to serve in pharmaceutical industries and to provide appropriate medication service to the patient. This is the only university department in the State of Uttar Pradesh imparting Pharmacy education by a government institute. The department is approved by Pharmacy Council of India and is currently running B. Pharm. course. The Department has fully equipped laboratories, seminar rooms and class rooms.
